How To Make Awesome Home Made Cat Treats!
This video demonstrates how you can make homemade cat treats which your cats will surely love. All you need is half a cup of oatmeal flour, an egg, one tablespoon of olive oil and one can of tuna in water. Mix them all together, roll into bitesize balls and bake in the oven for ten to twelve minutes at 180¼C/350¼F. Allow them to cool and that’s it! You can now feed your special treats to your cats.
It is much better to make your own cat treats because you will know exactly what’s in them – unlike many of the products commercially available which can contain unhealthy ingredients.
When giving your cats treats, remember to do it in moderation because they may decide to avoid their food in favor of the goodies. Make sure to offer the treats for no more than two or three times a week and these should make up a very small part of their diet. Too many treats makes a chubby kitty and you don’t want your cat to develop weight problems. Also, don’t use treats to replace love. When you are busy, it is easy to think that a handful of treats is a good substitute for strokes and cuddles. It just does not work that way.
