What Cats Do At Night
Ever wondered what your cat does at night? This video will put all your queries to rest. Cats can sleep for long periods but they are known to be crepuscular creatures meaning they are most active during the twilight hours of dusk and dawn. Most cats can be active at night as well.
If your cat keeps you awake at night, here’s the things you should do:
1. Don’t get up and feed your cat; don’t play with him either – you will unintentionally reward him for waking you. The best thing you can do is to ignore him.
2. Play with your cat in the evening and use toys that mimic the movements of mice and birds. This will eventually tire him out.
3. Give your cat his meal before bedtime because felines are known to sleep after a big meal. However, it is important to reduce the size of his other meals so he won’t gain weight.
4. If possible, keep your cat out of your bedroom and be firm with him. Stick to your decisions because once your cat realizes that you mean business, he will eventually adjust to the new arrangements.
5. Don’t hesitate to call the experts if you really need help.
